Its been a long time since I’ve done a HTTYD fan dragon but inspiration struck!

This isn’t a finished design by any means and I may revisit it with different iterations. 

Its called the Blood Boiler.  It has long, venomous fangs which it uses to inject a venom which causes excruciating, burning pain throughout the body of those bitten, though it rarely bites or attacks humans. Those who have experienced the pain were attempting to hunt the dragon for its hide, spines, or out of fear. 

Since I’ve learned a lot about insects lately I wanted to try and put some of that into a dragon, and I played around with some different things before I landed on a dragon based off Assassin bugs, specifically the “Horrid King” assassin bug, Psytalla horrida. Theyre a large, beautiful insect with an excruciating bite, though they are often kept as pets and don’t seem quick to bite those that own them.
