Alright. We’re all familiar with the Tortuga, right? Of course we are!
Both inside and out, right? The sea turtle flippers when it flies or swims…
And all the plants inside.
It’s like it’s a turtle (or tortoise, even) with its own ecosystem! It supports the life of the team, and it’s very world-savvy, able to take them wherever they wanna go.
A turtle associated with the world. Carrying its own life. Let’s see, where have we heard this before?
I have so much to do but I managed to squeeze this in! CPS Malfunction AU (I also call it Chimera AU 1).
Chris’s CPS malfunctioned badly, forcibly meshing his DNA with a deer (supposed to be a white-tailed deer but the colors are off so eh). Aviva declared no one should touch that CPS until she could fix it, but lo and behold, a few weeks later there was a bad situation and it was the only CPS Martin could use. He used more than one disk in succession, and when he deactivated, the power suit lumped them together neatly and Martin is now part lion, tiger, and big horn sheep.
Chris’s lineart on this is several months old (I first sketched it in Nov 2017) but I finished the whole picture over the last few days and didn’t re-do it because I’m monumentally lazy.
I love them! I don’t know why but chris always ends up part deer xD but I’m not complaining it really suits him and Martin oh boy what did you got yourself into
Look, you need to help me; A friend of mine just cannot believe that kid’s shows (ie. Wild Kratts, Odd Squad, to name a few) actually have fandoms. I offered to make a bet: If I was able to get at least 250 notes then she’ll believe me.
My reasoning for designing the suits like this is kind of related to the birds of paradise episode, where the male Parotia suit didn’t look like it had functional wings (it may have had them) and the feet didn’t really look like bird feet much. The wings on the peacock suit are functional (even if I didn’t draw them at the right size) but they can kind of fold back so that the wearer can use their hands as needed.
Martin is the one doing a full display, Chris is being dramatic in the foreground (as per usual).
Anyway, I hope y’all think this is a cool design! I had a ton of fun with it!

There are a few mistakes here, the major one being that in the story Martin had taken off his cloak, and he ought to have his sword somewhere near him. I don’t even remember/read my own writing apparently lol so I’m gonna just live with it

Here’s the prologue for The Devil’s Curse! Future chapters may not be in the same style, as I was mostly trying for the fairytale type style for the introduction.
But yeah, this is a world where there’s magic, and the brothers have magic, but it won’t play a big part until later, as you’ll see
