So @feathersketch and I were doing an RP based on this college which is where the fan crew meets each other and we learn how to be adventurers (Cause really, who of us ACTUALLY knows how to pilot an aircraft?) and I had an idea during a little blurb in the story: What if our first mission was before we even graduated? So here’s the plot:
The Kitsune gets its first field test on an impromptu field trip to save animals from around the world! The villains are all working together to create the world’s largest mall and chain stores, and they’re using the animals to draw people in. (Think Creature Christmas but on a continental scale, literally, the main mall is gonna take up the entirety of the bamboo forest in China)
and Zach just dumped some African wildlife in NC cause he couldn’t think of anything to do with them, so we’re gonna see Spot Swat as a juvenile, Nubs, Hipster and another baby rhino who’s a special surprise, as well as some impalas and warthogs.
Basically, our quote unquote “exam” is a real life creature adventure!And then, it hit me: We should make this into an animated project. I’m not joking, we have some seriously talented people in this crew, so why not tell our story in the same way as the OG crew, a fan-made episode of Wild Kratts. The title?
Wild Kratts: Reborn

We feel like the storyline here has a great potential, and we’d love rps help with both au characters and actual character roles as well (since it can be a bit of a struggle to take on the whole crew). ANIMATED?! That’s really ambitious. Last time I animated took me a month to do 2 minutes worth if animation.

Just as @heart2bpr said that’s quite ambitious.
We would need a lot of stuff and people to do this
We need scripts, probably if not for sure we’ll need storyboardings
An animation style has to be chosen, is it gonna be every animator doing their own style of art or the whole thing in the same art style.
Not to mention not everyone in the fandom animates, and the ones we do know how to a do animate for us it takes a fair amount of time as animation usually does
Programas also need to be put in the whole picture, we all use a different art program an they export animations differently
Audio is another whole thing to be considered are the characters gonna talk?, are they gonna be silent? If there’s gonna be talking we need to record our voices and not everyone has the equipment to do so
Is there going to be a soundtrack or not that’s another thing to go through
I’m not trying to put the project down I’ll love to be part of this project but all this things need to be thought out first to see if we are gonna be able/capable of doing it
