I didn’t think people would be interested on my crappy headcanons but wow
Imma put this here:
-At first, Martin was only interested on drawing animals and one or other plant he saw and thought it looked cool.
-This changed when he saw Donita’s art. Damn. She had skills for both drawing humans and creatures. Now, you may be wondering ‘How did he see her art?’ well, let’s say I have kind of a side story to that: During ‘Flight of the Draco’, he saw her sketching some weird clothing and jewerly designs that also involved dracos. But the way she drew was amazing, even if it was for something as evil as to make clothes out of living creatures.
-Of course taking a look at her drawings didn’t make him feel bad about his art skills, actually, he wanted to practice and draw even more!
-He knew he couldn’t draw humans, he has tried and it went horribly wrong, that time he laughed it off and told himself ‘Nah, I think I’ll stick with creatures, they don’t have hands’ Then Chris shouted at him ‘What about monkeys?’ ‘Ahem, most of them don’t have hands’
-We know Wild Kratts episodes don’t have an actual order and I tried to make a timeline for this show but it’s just aAARGH -cough- so, the posibility of this happening messes up with my brain at levels not even the wisest of wises could understand.

So, I’m not sure if this episode happened after or before ‘The Other Martins’ because Chris’ attitude was pretty much the same as in that episode. This time he was still acting like a child (We got some little brother Chris) but for other reason in particular: The color blue.
Let me explain why I don’t know when did this hapoen:
There are two possibilities: Martin did have a talk with Chris after all ‘The other Martins’ incident, they maked up, and this happened before that episode (Martin HAS to be the one that talks to him, not anybody else ((except maybe Chris who was also being an asshole)), he was teasing him way too much and yes brothers tease each other all the time, but Chris wasn’t taking none of that shit, he was really annoyed)
Or
Nobody ever mentioned the incident and they left it hanging only for it to come back in a new fashioned way of ‘MARTINSHUTUP’
And this time I’m actually going on Martin’s side, because he didn’t annoy Chris as much as you would expect about being in a Blue CPS. He was focused on the main task for the day (Which was analyzing the blue birb™’s creature powers) while Chris was looking for green creatures and trying to make the day end faster. He did help tho.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much it.
Also, the ending for this episode was total gold XD
Man, Chris can be hella clueless sometimes.
