I’m reblogging but I also want to point out that some rescue organizations do adoption events at pet stores, at least that’s the case with two organizations at one of my local pet supermarket, and in the case of the organization I foster for we mostly took cats out of death roll from shelters, I say took because the organization got a new president who wants to only do TNR (Trap Neuter Release) now.
