Can people stop using oppression to react to people who are bigots? This isn’t okay. You’re hurting people who look like her but aren’t bigoted like her. People who have bodies like hers are going to see this and feel embarrassed and ashamed because you’re saying that people that look that way are ugly and disgusting.
No one deserves to be mocked for their looks. It’s oppressive, not progressive.
Call her out for racism. For transphobia. For all the things she has done wrong. Call her a bigot, call her amoral, criticize her beliefs and values, hold her accountable.
But don’t laugh at her for being fat. It’s not okay. Fat people do not deserve this. You might not care how she feels about it, but you should care how this hurts and affects other fat people.
She’s a terrible person. Just say that.
