
I mean, humans aren’t endangered species and don’t lay eggs, so it makes sense that two entirely different species would be treated differently?
Protecting eggs after they’ve been laid but before they’ve been hatched is vastly different than restricting abortion, which would violate the bodily rights of the pregnant person. Fetuses don’t just gestate in a bubble on their own; they’re directly dependent on a pregnant person’s body to survive, and that person has the right to decide when, how, and if their body is used.
