As artists, we can often feel like we’ve plateaued on our progress because of lack of time, or resources. Not every artist has the time to go to art classes, and not every artist has the money to attend art-school and receive a proper critique.
That’s why I’ve created this blog! Introducing the…
The Redline Station is a blog that is dedicated to helping artists. If an artist is struggling with anatomy, or would like a critique on their art, they can submit the art using the SUBMIT YOUR ART button. Then, one of our moderator artists will pick up their piece and do a redline of it to help them better see the places that need fixing.
What’s a redline?
Good question!
A redline is when an artist will draw directly over a piece of art in order to show what the mistakes in anatomy are. By seeing the comparison of the art itself (at a lower opacity) and of the more accurate anatomical example, the artist can more quickly improve their drawing.
Our artists will take your submitted drawing and give you a redline. They will then post it to the blog alongside the original to help you compare the two and easily see what needs to be done. It’ll look somewhat like this!
Q: Can I submit anything?
A: Yes! Any type of art, human or animal is okay! The only thing that’s not okay is gore and pornography. The posts will need to be PG-13. (Kissing and suggestive scenes are okay, however.)
Q: Will you redline if the drawing is in my style?
A: Yes! Anime style, cartoony style drawings are also okay. The idea isn’t to fix the drawing to look more like ‘realism’, but to fix it to make it look more believable within the frame of style it’s already in.
Q: How many drawings can I submit for redlining?
A: For the time being, I’m the only one running the blog… In order to keep my sanity, I will accept only one submission per person and only keep submissions open for a limited time until I get more help. Which brings us to our next point…

This is super important to me and honestly, for me, it feels more important than when I asked for help last time. It isn’t for myself but for my dog that we’ve had for basically half of my whole life now. Allie is a huge part of my life and my family and I seriously want to help her as much as I can right now. We took her to the vet today ( 3/5/18 ) for her annual physical and updating her shots and while we did that we had the doctor look at a growth that’s been getting bigger on her stomach behind a teat.
It’s not as easy to see on camera as it is in person so I traced where it is on her. That’s the noticeable one though as the other day I felt a tiny lump near it that wasn’t there before and a tiny lump is how that big one had started out. And you can definitely tell by looking at her other teats that it’s not supposed to look like that at all. What’s going on is that as female dogs age without being spayed they are at risk for, essentially, developing doggy breast cancer. Mammary tumors. Which each passing heat she goes through it’s upping her likelihood of these getting worse, more showing up, and it spreading to not just tumors under her skin. That it’ll spread into her chest. The sooner we get her taken care of and the ones she has removed and get her spayed, the sooner she can heal and stop developing the tumors all together.
This is the estimate we got today for when she’d come in for the operations. $1606.63 would be the estimated total. My family doesn’t have that kinda money but we’re hoping they’ll let us do payments on it. That being said, my parents don’t efficiently make that kinda money as quickly as we’d need. I want to help where I can so I’m gonna open emergency doodle commissions. They’re faster and easier for me to do which would guarantee the content and I could do a multitude better than I could full priced large scale commissions.
I’ll be taking the commission payments through my ko-fi account and tips and donations are also super appreciated. Please, if you can even lend a dollar it would help. Hey everyone. I…..can’t say I’m happy. That would be a lie.
I’m not.
I have been dealing with a lot lately. A lot.
Some good, some bad……….some horrible.
I haven’t finished the New Year’s picture for starters…. I’ll try and complete it by Saturday.
I also store my majority of my work on a flash drive……that got bent. I found a program to help me retrieve my lost data if I format it…..but that doesn’t stop me from nearly grieving the possible loss of all my work……and realizing I….need help. Help, I intend to get. I have a big feeling I have depression. Part of me….hopes I don’t, but it would explain a lot of things.
I’m also in more financial trouble than you can imagine. I got denied Social Security and I’m trying to appeal.
I need to also find somewhere to live and possibly get a job and do my classes to get my GED.
These are a ton of worries I have to deal with now and possibly constantly.
I may be late on Extra Art, but……I hate having to say this…. I need your help.

Ok guys, they won. they won with 8 millions of votes. but don’t be fooled. Today the polling places were empty, and at 3pm only 1 million of people voted (less than the 2%) My cousin told me that they use information of DEATH PEOPLEto gain votes.
Ten countries don’t recognize this election. Was a fraud election. And the only thing that need matter is the fact that 15 PEOPLE WERE KILLED TODAY, and two of them were just TEENAGERS (13 and 17 years old)
one woman was FIRED of her work for doesn’t go to vote (according to her family, she was an amazing employed). People have crossed the border with Colombia to not stay here
